Canada's Next Top Ad Exec is a competition that brings university students from across Canada to find out who is the best of the best when it comes to advertising. McMaster University plays host to the annual event with lead sponsor General Motors. The prizes are incredible with the top prize being a new General Motors car.

The 2012 National Franchise and Business Opportunity Show kicked off the spring season in Toronto with 120 exhibitors and over 4,000 attendees.  There was loads of energy on the trade show floor as franchisors put their best foot forward to the delight of the masses of would be business owners.  Information seminars rounded out the two day event held at the Metro Convention Centre on Front Street on January 14th and January 15th.

What will the workplace look like 30 years from now?  Filled with technology, chips embedded under your skin, and global job boards?  Those were just some of the ideas that were presented at the 2012 edition of Focus 2040.  A competition of university student teams from across Canada who predict what the workplace of the future will be like.
